Met een achtergrond in jazz- en musicaldans ontwikkelde hij een uitgesproken fysieke speelstijl, waarin ritme, precisie en expressie de hoofdrol spelen. Die combinatie bracht hem van zijn debuut in Fiddler on the Roof naar uiteenlopende producties binnen het Nederlandse musicalcircuit, waaronder titels als Anastasia en West Side Story.
