Biography - The Music of Studio Ghibli & Japanimation
Studio Ghibli is een Japanse animatiestudio, opgericht in 1985 door de beroemde regisseurs Hayao Miyazaki en Isao Takahata. De studio staat wereldwijd bekend om zijn animefilms die vaak fantasievolle, diepgaande verhalen vertellen met milieuthema's en sterke vrouwelijke hoofdrollen. Ghibli's doorbraak kwam met films als My Neighbor Totoro (1988) en Spirited Away (2001), waarvan de laatste een Oscar won voor Beste Animatiefilm.
