Winter Walks: The Cabinet of Public Disorder invites you to explore the Westhoek from 21 November 2026 to 20 February 2027. This winter walk takes a playful look at the region’s beauty and its wonderfully unruly corners, where ribbon development and colourful everyday structures shape a landscape full of character.

From verandas and back kitchens to wash houses, garden sheds, bicycle huts, pigeon lofts and potato cellars, the route turns familiar details into a surprising walk full of observation, humour and public disorder. An activity for anyone who wants to experience the Westhoek from a different and unexpected perspective.
