La Sécurité is a Canadian post-punk band from Montréal that blends sharp guitar lines, driving bass grooves and danceable rhythms into an energetic and distinctive sound. The five-piece draws inspiration from post-punk, new wave, no wave and art rock, while giving those influences a fresh contemporary edge. (2023), which was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize, the band quickly established itself as one of the most exciting new names in international post-punk.
