Lieven Debrauwer is a Flemish film director, screenwriter, author and passionate storyteller. After studying photography at VISO in Mariakerke, he began his career in the audiovisual world by making short films as an amateur and film school student. He also worked as a cameraman for the popular television series Duupje.
Debrauwer later gained widespread recognition as a film director with acclaimed feature films such as Pauline & Paulette, which received both national and international praise. His work is known for its warm storytelling, refined visual style and strong focus on human emotions and memorable characters.
In addition to his filmmaking career, Lieven Debrauwer is an avid collector of perfume bottles and a sought-after speaker. Through his engaging lectures on film, culture and perfume, he continues to inspire and entertain audiences across Belgium and beyond.
