One of Trinidad & Tobago’s most celebrated musical acts, Kes has been a pioneering force in Soca music since 2005. The band has brought Caribbean music to international stages, collaborating with artists like Snoop Dogg, Wizkid, and Major Lazer, and delivering global anthems such as “Wotless,” “Savannah Grass,” and the hit “Hello,” which has garnered over 32 million streams on Spotify. With 620K+ monthly Spotify listeners and over 417K Instagram followers, Kes has gained a significant following. Music sits at the intersection of Afrobeats, Pop, Dancehall, and Reggaeton.
Recently, Kes made history as the first Soca act to headline and sell out Central Park SummerStage in 2024 and headline the Budweiser Stage in Toronto in 2025. Once again, this year they sold out two back-to-back nights at Central Park Summerstage in July. Some more of this year’s highlights include their performance at the Montreal Jazz Festival and their win for the Soca Performer of the Year Caribbean Music Award.
The band became famous for hosting its first “Tuesday on the Rocks” concert, named after one of their songs, which in future years would become one of the major annual events on the Trinidad Carnival calendar, and grow to include satellite editions in New York, Toronto, Jamaica and Guyana. “Hello” remains one of the most streamed Soca songs of all time. Known for high-energy, crowd-moving live shows that deliver communal euphoria.
