Billy Dans is an Amsterdam-born singer with deep roots in Dutch folk music. Raised in the Jordaan, he started performing in his father’s café, drawing inspiration from legends like André Hazes and Johnny Jordaan.
He broke through with hits like Hazes, Laat het effe, and Jongen uit de stad. Billy also co-wrote the smash hit Frans Duits for Donnie & Mart Hoogkamer and has received multiple Buma Awards for his songwriting.
His upbeat, catchy songs mix traditional sounds with modern flair. On stage, Billy Dans delivers pure Amsterdam charm and pop energy that gets every crowd moving.
