Donny Benét is een Australische muzikant en producer, bekend om zijn kenmerkende retro-synthpop en funkgeluid, geïnspireerd door de jaren ‘80. Zijn muziek wordt vaak gekenmerkt door groovy baslijnen, vintage synthesizers en een tongue-in-cheek charme. Met albums als Don’t Hold Back (2011), The Don (2018) en Mr Experience (2020).
Zijn stijl wordt vaak vergeleken met artiesten als Giorgio Moroder en Prince, met een vleugje humor en nostalgie.
