Dope Lemon

Angus Stone, born 27 April 1986, is an Australian soul and pop singer, record producer and sound engineer. Together with his sister he forms Angus & Julia Stone, with whom he has released several studio albums. His debut solo album 'Smoking Gun' was released in 2009 under his other alias Lady of the Sunshine. Stone is currently taking the name Dope Lemon.

In 2016 he launched his Dope Lemon project. His first album under this name was created because he wrote songs with his friends on the farm where he lives. He also has his own recording studio on site. The debut album under this alias was released in 2016 under the name Honey Bones. An album that takes you on a psychedelic journey. The album is best experienced by listening with headphones on, as the mixing plays with your perception.

His second studio album 'Smooth Big Cat' revolved around the Smooth Big Cat character, described by Stone himself as: 'A mystical creature of leisure'. In 2022 he will release his third album Rose Pink Cadillac, which carried a warm, lo-fi sound.
