In the 140-year history of Swan Lake, thousands of performances of Tchaikovsky's masterpiece have been staged, but this version by British ballet maestro Derek Deane shines at a level of its own. The performance, featuring no fewer than 48 swans instead of the usual 24, and its extraordinary quality make this production an experience unlike any other.
