Jarreau Vandal is the stage name of Dutch DJ, producer and singer-songwriter Ellroy Uyleman. Blending house, hip-hop, R&B, soul, funk and electronic music with global influences, he has developed a distinctive sound that effortlessly crosses genres. Since breaking through with the influential Los Angeles collective Soulection, Jarreau Vandal has become one of the most innovative names in contemporary electronic music.
Following the release of The Jarreau Vandal White Label (2014), Jarreau Vandal expanded his catalogue with projects including Anthology (2018) and Suburb Superhero: The Villain Within (2020). His productions, edits and remixes have earned millions of streams, while recent singles such as RITMO, GANGA RIDDIM and Heartless showcase his ongoing exploration of global rhythms, seamlessly blending afro, hip-hop, house and Moroccan influences.
Jarreau Vandal has performed at leading festivals and venues including Montreux Jazz Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, Eurosonic Noorderslag and Boiler Room, while touring extensively across Europe, North America and Asia.
